Within a few miles of Dayton you will find some of the finest fishing, hunting and skiing in the Pacific Northwest. The Bluewood Resort offers ski slopes to coddle beginners or challenge experts. The Snake River recreation areas are just a short drive way. For the less ambitious, the Blue Mountains offer choice summer picnicking areas, complete with huckleberries for the picking.
